You give a little, you get a little! Hackney Council (local government area) in London governs a fab area. You can say you’re homeless at the library in Dalston and get a free library card – no questions asked. You can use the library card for the internet in most London LGA’s (not Islington) and feel like you are part of the London e polloi.

Want to let off some steam? There’s a freedom-to-graffiti tunnel just next to Waterloo station – called the Leake Street Arches.

Head somewhat locally to Stockwell for cans at this joint called Wildstyle graffcafe (WS.GC) or Halfords car auto digs in Brixton. Feel free to have a spray at local Rastafari contingent.

You may need to utilise hostels even if you are staying in a hotel. Why not use them for mail and other services?

In south London up the road from Elephant and Castle station there is a bonza hostel -great for shower if need be. It’s called Restup London.
